Philip and Grace started the creative unit “cowrice” for 20 years. They started to run a leather workshop in Hong Kong for 11 years as a leather crafter and teacher.

In 2022, they moved their base to England and started to produce all the leather items under name of “cowrice studio” . Every procedures are handmade by them in their home studio and materials are mainly from England and Italy.

Their designs focus on form, shape development. They love simplicity with details. It is practically item which is long lasting.

And meanwhile, they do artwork with their daughters in the media of block print, calligraphy, painting, needlework, woodwork and storytelling.

They are going to curate homeware for sale which is lined up with some Hong Kong artists or makers such as ceramic and rattan.
